The Dumdum.

The dumdum is someone who thinks he needs to live up to other people’s expectations.

The dumdum is someone who feels the need to “belong” is important.

The dumdum is someone who thinks he needs to generally “misbehave” to show that he is a grown up.

The dumdum is someone who is not smart enough to know when he is being manipulated.

The dumdum is someone who thinks it is better to cheat to pass than to fail to pass.

The dumdum is someone who thinks that perfection is everything.

A dumdum is someone who doesn’t believe in God.

The dumdum is someone who thinks there is an alternative to hard work.

No one likes to fail but failure isn’t always a bad thing. It means First Attempt In Learning. Always remember that your effort never dies.

Lest I forget, a dumdum is someone who is guided only by his own instinct.

Post Script: A dumdum is a dumb person and just like the ten commandment, if one is guilty of one, he is guilty of all. Let’s not be dumdums.

  1. Around here, our gates are locked against whole families of those who think there’s an alternative to hard work. One of my kids used to expend more energy avoiding his homework than he would have spent getting it done. My husband is a lifetime procrastinator – before he met me. With me pointedly biting my tongue against saying ‘I told you so’, he’s learning.

    • Thanks a lot. Well, some people can go extra mile just to make sure they pass. They believe that it is better to cheat to pass than to fail but at the end they end up regretting. Thanks for your comment. I really appreciate it .❤
