Keep The Faith.

Jesus worked many other miracles for his disciples, and not all of them are written in this book. But these are written so that you will put your faith in Jesus as the Messiah and the Son of God. If you have faith in him, you will have true life.
John 20:30‭-‬31 CEV

Hello, trust you are good. Welcome to today’s blog post. I’m glad you are here.

Today’s blog post is specially made for you. Yes, YOU. I’m going to talk about those dreams you’ve always had, I’m going to talk about the aspirations you’ve had over the years that seem like they are going down the drain.

Let’s talk about the story of a guy named Jonah. He was very enthusiastic about God. He had big dreams and wanted to please God. On a particular day, God told him to go to a city called Nineveh, the people there were wicked and God needed him to warn them. Jonah chickened out because he felt they did not deserve salvation, then he went to another city so he could hide from God. He lost faith in the fact that since God sent him on an assignment, God was going to see him through.

He was about to flee via a boat but things did not go as planned and he ended up in the belly of a great fish for three days and nights. In the belly of the fish, Jonah asked God for mercy and God commanded the fish to spit him out upon dry land. At the end of it all, Jonah arose and went into Nineveh, according to God’s Word. The people of Nineveh believed God, from the greatest of them to the least.

I’m moved to tell you another story to encourage you.

Joseph was a man whom God had shown some of the great plans He had for him through dreams and visions, he believed all God said to him. As he journeyed, he found himself working as a slave as a teenager. Not just that, he ended up being imprisoned for an offence he did not commit. Joseph did not give up on God and himself. Although he was sad about everything, he still kept the faith. Eventually, all the dreams and visions came to pass.

Your story does not necessarily have to be similar to those above but I want you to know that every dead hope can be resurrected. The Bible says in Isaiah 49:16 that your name, yes, YOUR NAME, is engraved on the palms of God. God is looking at you every time. He has amazing plans for you. It may seem like you are in a lion’s den like Daniel or you are in a fiery furnace like the Three Hebrew men, but guess what? He is right there with you. He is not letting you go.

Don’t panic. I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for I’m your God. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you.
Isaiah 41:10 MSG

The plans God has for you are good. Before you were formed, there was a plan for your life already. Your life is not a coincidence. You were created to be a solution to a problem here on earth. Keep the faith, don’t give up. Like Jonah, go back to Nineveh, go back to God. His arms are opened wide.

Don’t let the devil lie to you. The aim of the Devil is to keep you tired, depressed, and frustrated. God’s plan is to give you rest. Exchange weariness for rest now. Regardless of circumstances, God is right there with you. He is replacing burdens for rest.

Lastly, to keep the faith, you have to keep studying The Word of God, The Bible. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by The Word of God. Romans 10:17.
